Cashmere prices are too low. There is a focus on quantity (mass production, affordability) over quality. Mass-market cashmere is unsustainable, whereas #luxury-cashmere might resolve the problem. For the Government of Mongolia, interventions to raise prices should occur at the supply side through a commodities exchange that circumvents brokers (#chenj).
