Corporate Social Responsibility. Corporations have an ethical duty to ensure that the people working for them, or in areas where they ate, are not adversely affected by corporate actions. This is a form of self-regulation that positions that corporation as 'responsible' in the sense of being aware of, and proactive about, its potential impacts.
