abstractNote | This video is about Mongolia committing to sustainable textile production by adopting a National Standard for Sustainable Textile Production. The video was produced in 2021 by EU-funded SWITCH-Asia project on "Sustainable Textile Production and Eco Labelling - STeP EcoLab" implemented by AVSF Mongolia. The National standard is aimed at developing an environmentally friendly and traceable wool and cashmere industry. The main content and criteria of the Standard are derived from the Voluntary Code of Practice for Sustainable Production, a document which was initiated and developed within the STeP EcoLab project jointly with the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association. More information about AVSF Mongolia and the STeP EcoLab project can be found on www.avsfmongolia.org. |
